NCs03-10 TackyNO-CLEAN TACKY FLUX
Amerway Inc manufactures quality fluxes. Our business is Solving problems. S u p e _ Residues and characteristics pass Bellcore _ Meets IPC requirements for ROL0, No-Clean _ No slump _ Excellent wetting ability, lot-to-lot consistency, and stable viscosity _ Long tack time _ Halide-free, halogen-free
DESCRIPTIONNCs03-10 Tacky Flux is a Synthetic Type REL0 No-Clean formulationfor electronics applications requiring high-reliability, stability, and cleanliness. Flux formulation contains no ionic materials and is suitable for clean-room applications. APPLICATIONSNCs03-10 Tacky Flux is formulated for BGA rework and repair, or specialty processes where a conventional flux does not provide sufficient activity and/or requires post-solder cleaning. Flux can be placed on surface area by printing, dispensing, or manually applying the flux. When cleaning is required, isopropyl alcohol can be used to clean all surfaces requiring residue removal. If solvent cleaning cannot be used, an aqueous cleaning system is recommended A water temperature of 60°C/140°F is recommended for optimum results SPECIFICATIONSNCs03-10 Tacky Flux meets Bellcore standards and is classified as an IPC ANSI-J-STD-006 Type ROL0. The formulation is halide-free and all post-solder residues are No-Clean. SAFETY PRECAUTIONSNCs03-10 Tacky Flux is a product formulated for use in assembly processes that require safety precautions be engaged. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When using, do not eat, drink, or smoke. Wear gloves and eye protection. When soldering, many alloys contain lead; wash hands if hands come in contact with the product. Observe industrial hygiene and safety practices to assure conformance with local, state, and federal safety health and environmental regulations. Adequate ventilation should be provided when soldering. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for additional information. STORAGEThe following conditions are recommended to achieve long-term stability and the assurance of consistent Tacky Flux: Store flux at room temperature of 18-25°C/64-77°F. Tacky Flux is certified for one (1) year when stored at room temperature.
