| Description: |
Amerway Copper Cleaner PC Fab-27 is specially formulated product for cleaning
and activating copper and gold plated surfaces without etching away the base metals.
This formulation can be used for cleaning and activating solder and tin coating, very
tarnished copper and silver plated surfaces. It will provide a clean, bright metallic
surface prior to plating or Hot Air Solder Leveling (HASL) process. |
| Application: |
| Amerway Copper Cleaner PC Fab-27 was designed for spray cleaning application
as well as dip cleaning application. This product is very effective for activating heavily
oxidized metal surfaces where production requirements necessitate a short cleaning time
of 5 to 10 seconds. This product can be used at temperatures ranging from 25ºC (77ºF) to
as high as 88ºC (190ºF). |
| Rinsing Requirements: |
| After the cleaning process has been accomplished, it is recommended that a rinse
in tap water followed by a second rinse in deionized water is recommended. After the
printed circuit boards have been dried, they are now ready for solder plating or HASL
process. |

| Amerway Copper Cleaner PC Fab-27 is a non-flammable material. Although acid
or hydrochloric acid is not used in this formulation, standard precautions should be
observed when handling the product. |

| Amerway Copper cleaner PC Fab-27 is available in one gallon containers, five
gallon pails and in fifty five gallon drums. |
