Section 06 Spill, Leak and Disposal Procedures
Action to take for spills/leaks Notify safety personnel, evacuate area, and
eliminate all sources of ignition. Personnel involved
in clean up should have protection from inhalation
and contact with liquid
Disposal method Scrap liquid may be disposed of via a licensed solvent waste company and may be incinerated, follow federal, state and local regulations.
Section 07 Health Hazard Data
Eye Causes moderate irritation with possible cornea injury.
Skin Contact Causes mild irritation. Prolonged contact may cause drying and cracking of skin.
Skin Absorption No evidence of adverse effects from available information.
Ingestion May cause stomach cramps, pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, loss of consciousness and death.
Inhalation Causes irritation of the nose, throat. High concentrations may cause drowsiness, headache, nausea, acceleration of pulse, chest pain.
Systemic & Other Effects Alcohol may cause bronchitis, pulmonary edema and
narcosis. Turpentine vapor is a mucous membrane
irritant and at higher concentrations a convulsant.
Section 08 First Aid Procedures
Eyes Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention by an ophthalmologist.
Skin Remove contaminated clothing, wash affected skin area thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, see a physician.
Ingestion Give two glasses of water. Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.
Inhalation Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Call a physician.
Note to Physician This product contains turpentine which if aspirated while
vomiting, may cause lung damage.

Ventilation Use local or general dilution ventilation to maintain exposure below exposure limits.
Respiratory Protection Use NIOSH/MSHS approved organic vapor cartridge half mask respirator for excessive concentrations up to 10 times the exposure limits.
Eye Protection Chemical splash goggles or face shield.
Skin Protection Use neoprene apron where potential for splashing exists.
Other Eye wash/ shower in near vicinity.
Section 10 Special Precautions and Additional Information
Storage Store in closed containers in a well ventilated low fire risk area away from acids, alkalis, and oxidizing agents and away from sources of heat and ignition.
