| Description: |
| Amerway Paste Flux 1300 is specially formulated product for use in the
automotive radiator and heater coil repair as well as copper tubing in the plumbing
industry. The Amerway 1300 Paste Flux is a strong zinc chloride based, lead free flux,
which provides superior fluxing ability, and strong solder bonding to copper brass
radiators and heater coils as well as copper plumbing for industrial and household needs. |
| Application: |
Clean all surfaces prior to soldering or making repairs. Remove all corrosion, dirt
or paint from surfaces to be soldered. Apply flux with a brush on all surfaces to be
soldered. Solder will not flow on surfaces that have not been fluxed. When soldering
copper tubing for plumbing, apply flux on both fittings and tubing. Apply solder to
joining surfaces while maintaining heat. When the joint is covered or filled, remove heat
and allow solder to cool undisturbed. |
| Residue Removal: |
| Flux residue may be corrosive under some circumstances. If post solder residue
removal is considered necessary, a rinse with tap water is recommended. |
| Safety: |
| Amerway Paste Flux 1300 is a non-flammable material. However, standard
precautions for handling acid material should be observed when handling this product. |
